The CMHA Advocate

Four week training programs for community volunteers to become certified, mental, health advocates. Advocates are then paired with mental health clients to help them on their path to treatment and self-sufficiency.

Mental Health Pre-Trail Diversion Program

Currently operating in multiple Carrol County Courts providing Opportunities for individual with a serious mental health diagnosis or co-occurring disorder, who have been charged with a qualifying misdemeanor, to choose twelve month, intensive mental health treatment program in lieu of sentencing

Early Division Program

Provides opportunities for individuals with serous mental health diagnosis or co-concurring disorder to choose a 6-month intensive mental health treatment program in line if arrest/booking for a qualifying misdemeanor

Crisis Intervention Training (CIT)

Hosts training for Law Enforcement and First Responders in Carroll County to be equipped with information and tools to better handle situation involving persons with mental illness in efforts to avoid more serious conflict or crisis

Connection Recovery Support Group

Open to individuals living with mental illness meets weekly! Contact us for ore information

Open to family and friends of those living with mental illness

Community Education and Outreach

CMHA promotes mental health education and community outreach to help break the stigma associated with mental illness.

The program hosts festivities and events during Mental Health Awareness Month in May and an annual fundraising event, Masquerade Ball- "Unmasking Mental Illness" in October
